PLAYERS’ STATUS DISCUSSED

The British Golf Union’s Joint Advisory Council lias privately discussethe status of three amateur golfers as the fact of their being employed in the sale of golf goods is making them ineligible for the amateur championships, under the latest ruling. The Council decided to send the St. Andrew’s Club’s communication on this matter to the Unions for action.
