NELSON, Jonuary 22. Nelson again headed the bi'ight sunshine figures ,soc the Dominion in 1934, but it had a very dose contender for first place in Blenheim, which town ■registered only 6.8 hold's less than Nelson. The Dominion figures which have been forwarded by Dr KidsOii show that Nelson recorded 2558.8 hours of bright sunshine during the year, that total • being slightly in excess of the .average 2545 hours. Blenheim followed closely with 2552.1 hours. Lake Tekapo came third on the list, 145 hours behind Blenheim, and Napier was in fourth place with 2401.4 hours. >
