OBITUARY
The death took place last evening of Air Patrick Grcagh at the Grey Hospital. Deceased was a native of Brunner and 40 years of age, and had been in lading health for a long period. Ho leaves a widow (nee Emma Hatch) and
two young sons, a mother (Mrs Creagli of Brunner), lour sisters and seven brothers.
The death occurred at Greymouth last evening of Air John Dunn, aged (53 years. Deceased, who was a native of Whitehaven Cumberland, England, came to New Zealand 45 years ago, working a number of years in Brunner. Deceased is survived by a wife, lour sons .-ind throe daughters.
Mr Archibald G, Drummond was the victim of the fatal accident on Monday last at the sawmill of Smyth Bros., and Bowyer, at Arohana 25 miles from Te Awamutu, The deceased who was 55 .vers of age was unloading a large log from a truck on the mill skids, when the log slipped, and before Drummond could jump clear, it had crushed him, death being instantaneous. He leaves a widow and one son, Mr Alerv, Drummond, of Kumara Junction.
The death took place at Christchurch late on Tuesday night of Airs. Annie Meredith, wife of Air Herbert Meredith, of Christenurch, and tanner . I.V of Greymouch. The deceased was the eldest daughter of the late Air and Airs George Darker, formerly welkknown residents of Healey Street, Hokitika, where deceased was born. She leaves a husband and grown up family of th ,-/ '° sons and two daughters, one son, Ale Stan. Aleredith residing at Greymouth. Deceased was a sister of Airs A. Parkhill, of Hokitika, and also leaves three brothers, Messrs George (Greymouth), Hugh (Wellington) and Richard Harbor (Otago)., Deceased was 60 years of
