FOUND FLOATING

FEET AND HANDS TIF.D

(Per ’’re&s Association, Copyright'

HAMILTON, January 21

With the feet and the hands tied with binder twine, the body of an unidentified man was found floating in the Waikato River this afternoon. It was found approximately three miles on the Hamilton side of Cambridge. A cursory glance failed to disclose evidence of foul play. If there were any such evidence on the body, it will not be disclosed until a post mortem examination is made. The body is that of a middle-aged man. From the state of the body, it is surmised that it had been immersed for a fortnight. Both the hand and feet were tied rather loosely. As the hands were held in front, it i s quite Possible that the binding cf the lrmds and feet was the handiwork of the dead man.
