CAR ACCIDENTS
PREMIER OGILVIE HAS NOSE TORN OFF. (Australian Tress Association.) (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) HOBART, Jan. 14. Premier Ogilvie received severe facial injuries, his nose being practically torn off, and his private secretary, H. G. Smith, had his leg badly smashed when a car in which they were travelling crashed into a tram in the city. MENZEL ESCAPES. (Received this day at 9.50 a.m.) ' SYDNEY Jan. 14.
Roderic Menzel. the Czecho-Slovakian tennis player, and his wife had a remarkable escape when their car somersaulted twice on the Blue Mountains.
Though the car was wrecked, the Menzels were only slightly injured.
