The relief fund in connection with ■Hhe 'Gresfiord oolfliery , disaster has reached £520,000. The amount is sufficient, to provide two thousand fo r each 'bereaved family.

Mr Justice Eve. in the Chancery Division, appointed a Receiver-Man-ager for the Sunbeam Motor Coni nan y on h'-e application of a debenture holder, whose counsel said that the company is at the end of the resources. He asked for power for the receiver to li'-rrow £10.030. Justice Eve granted the request subject to the trustee’s consent.
