The first wash-up of the Mossy Creek dredge took place on Saturday, the initial return being 32 ounces 6dwts 4grs of gold, 6500 yards of material being put through in opening out. The contractor, Mr W. G. McKay, will now hand the dredge over to the company.

BRIAN BORU DREDGE. The Brian Boru dredge did not washup last week, it being necessary to undertake certain other work, including cleaning-up operations.
