The police arc still pursuing inquiries into the murder of the unknown girl, some months ago at Albury. .1 he initials on a towel “R.C.0.” are being investigated at Wellington, New Zealand, where it is reported similar initials have been used on materials washed at a laundrv in that city.

In regard to the Sydney cable concerning the Albury murder, the police state that, although investigations have been made in Wellington and throughout New Zealand, nothing has been found to correspond with the somewhat indistinct marks on some nl the materials discovered with the girl’s body. The information in the Sydney message is not known by the police headquarters here.
