WEDDING
ADAMSON—THOMPSON. A very pretty wedding was. solemnised at St. Cuth'bert’s Church, Harihari on Wednesday last, when Alice Lillian Mary Thompson, eldest daughter of Mr and Mr s JR. Thompson, bf Bruce Bay, was united in holy matri--1 mony to Thos. John Adamson, second son of Mrs H. Adamson, Harihari. The church was decorated with arum lilies and white azaleas, and was crowded with friends of the bride and groom. The bride wore ah empire gown of ivory georgette and lace, with the orthodox ‘ orange blossoms and veil, and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations land stock. She was attended by Miss Jessie Adamson, who looked charming—in a floral crepe de chine frock, with blue-wreathed Leghorn hat to match. She carried a bouquet of delphiniums and lemon tulips to match - hOr' en- . semble. The groom was attended by , his brother, Mr B. Adamson. Aftfrh the ceremony the 'bridal enke was cut and toasts honoured at the house. Mrs H. Adamson. The happy coup.e left for Christchurch, where, they will spend their honeymoon, the bride wearing a iswacrcrer suit of saxe blue, with hat to match.
