ANOTHER, EXPLOSION OCCURS (Per British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, September 26. A further (explosion Occurred, this morning, in the main shaft of the Gresford colliery, where last weekend 262 miners lost their lives. Notices have been posted, warning people to keep 7 away from the colliery premises. Public contributions to the funds for the bereaved amounts to many thousands. The ''Acting-Lord Mayor of London jwill. broadcast' ’an appeal to-night. ' The relief fund is now approaching £40,000. ' V
The Mayor •of Wrexham states he lias been in telegraphic communication with the Archbishop of Sydney, who lias promised a consignment of lamb for the dependants of the victims.
