At Prihcdion, New Jersey, Glenn .Cunningham, from the University ot Kansas, set a new world’s record to the mile run in the amazing time or 4min 6 l-l"sec, as compared with the New Zealander, J. E. Lovelock’s record of 4min 7 1-16 sec. Ben Eastman, the Olympic star, also made a record when he ran the halt mile in lmin 49.Ssec.
