WESTPORT COAL DIVIDEND. , , DUNEDIN, November 8. The Westport Coal Company directors recommend a final dividend of 6d per share, making 9d per share, or 71 per cent for the year. SYDNEY WOOL SALES, SYDNEY, November 8. At to-day’s wool sales, 13,568 bales were offered and 13,138 were sold, also, 1,979 privately. There was a strong general competition. The market was very firm for all descriptions of merino, whilst comebacks and crossbreds sold freely at recently improved levels. Greasy merino sold to twenty-seven pence for five bales from Upper Horton, and five bales from Barraba.
