Stated by Senior-Sergeant Dempsey to have been fined £lO and had hia qb'ivjing license cancelled! for a year in 1931 for being in charge of a car while in a state of intoxication, John Clifford Kershaw, aged 29, a clerk, pleaded guilty to-day to a similar charge. He was fined £25, and had his license cancelled for three years.
