FIGURES FOR NORTH ISLAND.

The estimate of,the current season’s, lambing .for the North Island is 8.502,050 giving 91.23 per cent., the numoer or ■breeding ewes being 9,318,943. The district figures are: Hawkes Bay 3;943,719 bwes,- and 3,498,173 lambs ; Wellington. ;3,-591/773 ewes and 3,421,762 lambs • Auckland . 1,783,•450 and 1,582,115. The estimates of lambs tailed since 1928 show a percentage increase from 84.61 to 91.23 . • " i
