Mr H. Tan Simson, a well known resident of Hawke’s Bay for many years, announces his candidature for the Buller seat at the forthcoming bye-election as a Liberal Labour candidate, basing his platform on the policy of the late Messrs Ballanre and Seddon. Mr Simson has had considerable experience on various local bodies in the province. He was formerly Mayor of Hastings, chairman of the Hawke s Bay Rivers Board, and previously contested th© Hawke’s Bay seat m Liberal Labour interests.
