(Akara n a) 1 up; H. A. Black (Miramar) beat J. H. Coltman (Titirangi) 3 and 2; K. Ross (Otago) 'beat J. P. Hornab'rook (Masterton)- 4 and 3; B. V. Writiht (Otago) beat A. D. S. Duncan' (Wellington), 5 and 4. The semi-finals of the professional championship are also being played over 36 holes, differ 18 holes A. J. Shaw was 4 up on C. W. Woodroffe, and A. H. Dyke 4 »p on ,‘H. R. Blair.
