VINES’ PROFESSIONAL FEES

It is understood that Vines, who has turned professional, will be paid 25,000 dollars for eight months’ play, and guaranteed an additional like ."mount for advertising testimonials and other sources. His first match will be against Tilden himself at New York on January 10 next. Later he will tour with .Tiklen’s tennis troupe.
EUROPEAN DAVIS CUP ZONE LONDON, October 10. The first round of the European zone of the Davis Cup competition--1934, must be completed by May 20. the second round by June 12, the third round by June 21, and the final by July 16.
Tbe intcr-zore final is fixed for July 19. 20, 21 and the. challenge round July 20, 27, 28.
