RAILWAY OFFICIAL ARRESTED SHANGHAI, October 10.
Ab other Chinese eastern railway official has been a'rrested, the assistant chief of the railway section, who is charged wi'.h not obeying instructions, and with being connected with the evacuation of rolling stock to Siberia.

CONSUL DEMANDS (RELEASE. •MOSCOW, October 10.
The Teas Press Agency states the Soviet 'Consul-General at Rabrrovsk lias requested Manehukuo to state the charges cm which certain Chinese Eastern Railway officials have been arrested in connection with an inquiry regarding suspected transgressions of duty. The Consul-General has insisted on their immediate reheats, and an. official has 'promised to forward the request to the Government.
