MANY ARRESTS IN WELLINGTON

Seven Chinese, /and sixteen, Europeans were arrested this afternoon as the result of raids on four different premises in Taranaki street and Tory street, which are alleged ■to have been used for pakapoo. All the men■ will appeal in the Police Court .. to-morrow, charged with using and being found in premises used as common gaming houses. '■ i
