UNEMPLOYED IN WELLINGTON

WELLINGTON, May 23
Arrangements have been made in Wellington lor the manufacture ot working boots for the unemployed They are understood to involve 7,500 pairs, the bulk of which are to unready for delivery by the end of June. By that time, it is understood, orders will have been placed throughout the Dominion to the extent of 20,000 pairs
Mr Bromley, who is busy in arranging for the distribution of the boots, stated to-day that lie l«ad completed interviews with manufacturers in rnc four main centres, and they had assured him that the orders would mean the plumbing of the market- for botn raw material and skilled labour. He said that boot retailers and other* were satisfied that this market wfls ndditional to the ordinary market.
