SENSATION FOR SPECTATORS

The first., appearance of. Vivian M’Griith,.. the young Australian player with the twib-handed -backhand, has given England the first sensation of the lawn tennis season.

On. the opening of the hand court championships at Bournemouth there was such eagerness’ to see his muchdiscussed . backhand that spectators and disengeged players deserted the centre court to watch him in action. They, loudly commented-approval and surprise. ' .
