SYDNEY, December 4

Bert Brennan, the Parramatta cyclist,.. crashed in the Showground Handicap at the Speedway last night, and he died .shortly after -being admit-

ted to the hospital. In the final heat, another competitor, Paul, came down near the same spot, and was ridden over by another competitor, injuring his log. Jlohby Blake (Woollalira) maintained his unbeaten record when he defeated Stratton (New Zealand) in the Royal Match race in straight heats, the time being 45 1-3 seconds.
