WEEK-END MESSAGE.

(United Press Association —By Electric . Telegraph—Oopyri ght)

LONDON, December 2

Mr Baldwin, speaking at Sunderland, disclosed that there would probaby '-be important matters to deal with during the week-end, in which he did hope everyone would read the whole of the British Note. "You can mix it up with the Test match,” he said.

Britain, under it s previous Government, was third among the world’s great exporting countries, he said. It was not first. British manufacturers should take advantage of Ottawa and familiarise themselves with the Dominions’ 'requirements. He added: "I believe what I never was able to say before, namely, that Britain’s turn towards normality is coming.”
