FRENCH NOTE TO U.S.

RESUMPTION OF PAYMENTS. WILL RUIN WORLD. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.)

PARIS, December 2.

The French reply to America renews the urgent demand for deferment of the debt payment and repeats the reasons for this request. It adds: “This request implies sn. eguardiiig of mutual rights. It would be extremely grave If the Lausanne solution were again questioned. The resumption of payments before the general dissipation of the depression would be ruinous to the whole world.”
