The Waikato Spring Meeting is being concluded in ideal weather. There is a fair attendance, and the course is in good order. Results:— Frankton Handicap, 6 furlongs—(l) Bell Topper 1; (3) Arawa Rose 2; (7) Chateau 3. Scr—Sehizanthus. Won by half a head; a head. Time 1.15 245. ■
Clarkin H;ip.k Handicap, 7 furlongs(l) Prolyxo 1; (2) Merry Lap 2; (5) Limex 3. Scr—Lady Lulu, and Echo Song. Won hy a short neck; a. head. Time 1.26 2-5.
Ruakura Stakes, 5 furlongs—(2) Jmpasto 1; (4) Gay Seton 2; Gaj Sliiela 3. Scr. —Star' Artist and Springtime. Two lengths each way. Time 1.1.
Hamilton Handicap, 1 mile. —L’Allegro 1; Speedmint 2. Matangi Handicap.—(7) /Trowbridge 1; 3 Welcome Boy 2; 1 High Commissioner 3. Won by a short neck; five lengths. Time 3.13 3-5. Hack Cup.—(2) Gay Marigold 1; (8) Glenrata 2; (4) Lady Lulu 3. Won by two lengths; a head. Tjme 1.40. Kirikiriroa Handicap.—(l)' Tea Trader 1; (3) Gay Lap 2; (2) Paganelli 3. Won by four lengths; one length. Time 1.13. Tauwhare Handicap.—(3) Chief Joy 1; (4) Gay Idea 2; (2) Trishna 3. Won by a neck; one and a-half lengths, lime 1.40 3-5. The totalisntor handled £r3.027$ as against last year’s £12,516. For the meeting the figures were £28,875 compared with £26,126J last year. AMMON RA RETURNS. AUCKLAND, November 21.
Ammon Ra arrived from Sydney by the Marama this morning, and was sent straight on to Cambridge for a spell.
