DECISIONS OF THE BOARD. (Per Press Association — Copyright. f WELLINGTON, November 21. The Rural Intermediate Credit Board to-day gave consideration to remits which were carried at a conference of co-operative rural intermediate credit associations operating in the South Island, which was held at Dunedin on the 11th. of October. The Board decided to adopt s'eve-ral of the suggestions madle, and its decisions will be communicated to the associations concerned.

The Board h!a® decided that directors of associations, when recommending loans on the Security of implements and machinery, should classify them, and make specific recommendations as to the amounts to be advanced against each particular item. A conservative attitude is still to be adopted when considering loans on this class of security owing to the danger of loss where it becomes necessary to realise tho securities at forced sales. /-
