OVERSEAS TRADE
IMPROVEMENT LAST MONTH. (Per Press issue cut ion — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, November 21. The overseas trade returns for New Zealand for the months of October, 1832, with the' figures for the corresponding period of last year in parentheses, are: Exports/ £2,401,178 (£1,736,450). Imports: £1,847,532 (£1.862,231). The respective figur s for the ton months ended October 31st, 1932 were: —Exports : £31,087,830 (£29,004,574); imports: £18,913,231 (£20,960,260). The values shown for the exports are the declared f.o.b. values in terms of New Zealand currency, while the imports are valued on the basis of the values in the exporting countries, plus ten per cent.
