DETTON Y. MAMOS. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 3. Dean Detton (13.6) won, on a. foul, from Harry Mamos (13.8) at the Town Hall to-night in a. wrestling match before a small crowd. In the fourth round Detton,. attempting, a Hying tackle, hurled himself over the Greek’s head, and landed in the ropes with such force that lie was unable to continue, a fall was awarded to Mamas. The fifth round had not long been in progress when Mamos was cautioned by the referee for using the strangle-hold. He persisted in these tactics, and the referee (Mr Couglan) then declared Detton the winner.
