An attempt by the Winnipeg unemployed to tak© advantage of the ljlyaision 'of {the 'Manitoba farmers to stage a demonstration, was foiled when a crowd of two thousand was dispersed by massed motor cycle police. The crowd re-assembled outside the Legislative Buildings, where the Premier met the farmers’ delegation behind locked doors.
