DENUNCIATION OF HABITS. (Per Press Association — Copyright. ) DUNEDIN, October 15. At the Anglican Synod last -evening, the Rev. K. D. Andrews-Baxter (Southilr ad)' moved that Synod appoint -a commission to inquire into the welfare o'f youth' i nview of the exaggerated pleasure, drinking and impurity of a large number of young people today. He stated that drinking and sometimes worse went on in niany dance halls. When people made bridge and golf their gods it was no wonder the young, people fell short in the beginning of Their lives. The motion was (amended merely to appoint a commission to inquire into youth welfare, severa,] speakers stating that they would not stigmatise youth in the terms of t v . d original motion.
