MANY CLASHES
OVER HUNDRED ARRESTS MADE AT PRESIDENTAL ELECTION. (United Press Association—By Electric Teiegra ph.—Copyright.) BERLIN, February 29. The Presidential election opened to-day with many clashes between the Nazis, Communists and Socialists engaged in propaganda. There were many broken heads, after which the police intervened. 120 arrests were made.

He encloses official documents showing he was not liable for Austrian service in 1914, but patriotically volunteered for the Oei - man Army, where he stayed five years.
