NAPIER HOTELS
LICENSING COMMITTEE ATTITUDE. (By Telegraph —Per Press Association) NAPIER, December 7. Air Moslem S.M., Chairman of Nap,ier Licensing Committee expressed dissatisfaction to-day with the progress of rehabilitation of Napier hotels destroyed by the ’quake and fire. “We seem to be lip against an undamaged brick wall, as not one brick has been placed on another towards rebuilding the Masonic, Criterion, Provincial and Central Hotels.” Ho adjourned the annual meeting till next quarter, when the Committee will be faced with the possibility of refusing licenses of the hotels named if nothing had been done.
