YOUNG MAN {By Telegraph —Per Press Association) GISBORNE, November 7. Douglas Marsh, aged 21 a boilermaker’s apprentice, was drowned whilst bathing yesterday in a deep hole in the Waimata River. A companion named Alichie, who was an indifferent swimmer, and a 12-year-old boy, Trevor Stevens, made plucky, but ineffectual efforts to save him. -[- - ' FOUND DEAD. BLENHEIM, December 7. Errol Fry, aged 17, was found dead in a whare by the licensee of/Wairau Valley Hotel, where he was employed as cowboy, with a gunshot wound in the head and a gun alongside. His parents reside at Renwicktown.
