The Irish Free Sjbate Senate triennial election, by vote of the Lower House under the proportionate l-epre-sentation system, has resulted in the Government Party securing nine seats, the Fianna Fail Party seven seats; the Independents five, and Labour two seats. The Govermnent thus lost two seats, and the Independents lost one seat, all to the Fianna. Fail Party.'
