NEw YORK, July 15
A message from the s.s. “Stavanger Fjord,” at II p.m. (Greenwich mean time) on Wednesday said that she was in touch with' the plane ‘‘Justice to Hungary.” The position given by tin. ship indicated that the plane had then traversed one third of the distance from Harbour Grace to Great Britain. REPORT OF PROGRESS. (Received this day at 9.25 a.m) LONDON, July 16. A steamer reports Hungarian transAtlantic fliers were off Lands End early in the morning after flying for twelve and a half hours.
FORCED DOWN
OWING TO LACK OF FUEL
LONDON, July 16. The Hungarian trans Atlantic fliers were forced down owing to lack of fuel in Descke, a village thirty miles
from Budapest. They were uninjured, but the propellor and wing were smashed. An aeroplane has gone to bring them to Budapest, where huge crowds are awaiting, including the entire Cabinet, which was sitting when the news arrived, and immediately adjourned.
