FORCED DOWN

OWING TO LACK OF FUEL

LONDON, July 16. The Hungarian trans Atlantic fliers were forced down owing to lack of fuel in Descke, a village thirty miles

from Budapest. They were uninjured, but the propellor and wing were smashed. An aeroplane has gone to bring them to Budapest, where huge crowds are awaiting, including the entire Cabinet, which was sitting when the news arrived, and immediately adjourned.
