WESTPORT, July 16. There is every likelihood of a dispute over Tribute coal being settled in the next twenty-four hours. The Alliance of Ijabour,, wired, to, Hayward, President of the District Miners Council, advising him that the Alliance had instructed the waters!ders to lift the embargo on Charming Greek and Cascade coals.
A conference is being held to-day of watersiders, seamep s ,and miners district council to. discuss the situation. It is confidently expected that the dispute will be settled. So far no. intimation has been received by the Railways Department as to the latest move, hut further information should be available when the conference adjourns.
