CONSTERNATION REIGNS.

Supply for month of May amounting to £2,()43,80J was sought, by the Government in the Assembly. It is intimated that the Budget for the year is expected to be ready shortly.

The Premier expressed the opinion that New South Wales would goon be experiencing a prosperous peril,d. Air Lang reiterated his intention of seeking a reduction in the iiiteiest rates.
