A RAH UR A STOCK SALE. Yesterday's entry at the above yards was a pnrticiilnrv small one. Owing to the Hooded rivers portion of the advertised entry was unable 'to reach the yards. A total of 75 lambs and Id fat cattle were offered by the auctioneers present and cleared at satisfactory prices the following sales being made. 75 lambs at 13s, 3 bullocks at £lO 10s, 1. at £lO 2s (id. 2 at £9 15s. 1 at £7 ss. 3 at £8 10, 2 at £8 12s (id. 4 at £B, I at £lO IDs. WATAROA. SALE. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., advise having held their Autumn Sale at \Yataroa on Thursday last, the 19th in-st. The entry ol (KM) head was made up of some very fine lines of cattle. The attendance of buyers was bigger than usual, but it was soon evident that buyers were not prepared to pay tile prices ruling at the Spring Sale, and consequently, the competition was very slow for a while; hut once values had been established for the different classes of cattle, competition became .more general, and prices did not vary a great deal throughout the sale, on the last few pens, when the best prices of the day were matte for a line of 18 34 year heifers 'from .Mr -J. Cron, at £9; and a line of 21 year heifers from Messrs Nolan Bros, at £(i os. Dalgety’s quote as follows: .TV and 4.1 year steers £6 5s to £9 IDs; 34 year heifers £9. others £6 ss; 2-i----venr steers, £4 10s; yearlings, £1 tows from £3 12s 6d to £5 10s.
