CHRISTCHURCH, December 12.
As the outcome of a discussion on the present handicapping system, the Board of New Zealand Trotting Association decided this morning to make a request to the New Zealand Trotting Conference, that a meeting he called to . review the . system. , The matter arose as the result .of a letter from G. W. Watkins, asking for a ruling 011 the question of handicapping of his horse, Silver Bingen, at the Oamaru meeting. - Mr J. R. McKenzie stated that it appeared to him there was no unanimity among handicappers, and in consequence endless trouble was caused.
