AH Eric James and his party, who have reached hero- to-day, are en route for AVanaka, after dong nine weeks of exploration iiorth of Milford Sound. A hitherto unexplored valley there was followed to its source, Two lakes were discovered in the valley, one- having a. subterranean outlet. Numerous photographs and mineral specimens were obtained. The latter will be analysed.
