LATE LOCALS.
The annual meeting of the Automobile Association, Westland Branch, will be held in the County Chambers 10-morrow (Tuesday) at 7.30 p.m.Advt. Owing to the popularity of the all Ti,lking picture ‘•Sally” in Greymouth. it has been decided to show an extra night there and the first screening in Hokitika will take place on Wednesday and the second on Friday. The picture r.t the Princess Theatre to-morrow will be the “Glad Rag Doll,” as is being presented tonight. Next Wednesday night, the 13th, the Three Mile Ball, in aid of the Tennis Club, takes place. We understand elaborate preparations are being made to make this ball a success. Special preparations are being done to put the floor in tip top order and the ladies of the district are supplying a plentiful supper and with an up-to-date orchestra and a capable M.C. the dance should prove to he one of the best ever held in the district.
