The first whaler to be fitted with an electric whale killing apparatus sails for the Antarctic on Aug. 12th. Professc-r Weber, . representing the patentees, accompanies the expedition. He says that experiments have shown that whales can be killed intsantly, and only a weak current is required. AUSTRALIAN NAVALS. TRAINING IN EUROPE. LONDON, August 8.
