Though no official statement has been made., it is generally believed on the Stock Exchange that a basis has been reached for a settlement in the ]Tntry Group shares. .Tt is understood that the banks have increased their contribution to a fund totalling a million sterling, started by stockholders, to assist those who may require help. Thus a settlement will be negotiated without any failures. Iho Flock Exchange Committee has not vet fixed the date of settlement.
