GERMAN POLITICS
[United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.] \ BERLIN, December 4. A revolt df the German Nationalists against Herr Hagenberg’s policy of opposition to the Young Reparations plan has quickly developed. Twelve members of the party have already resigned. It is expected that the party will lose at least twenty members. Herr Westarp lias resigned the leadership in the Reichstag, but he explains that this is not a means'of seceding from the party. FURTHER PARTICULARS. (Received this day at 8 a.m.) BERLIN, December 5. It appears Brian’s Nationalist Party has turned against Huglienberg, and the secessionists, with the Right of the People’s Party may create a ljiew party constituting a stronger Conservative opposition than the Nationalists have been able to provide and thus leave the Nationalists, hitherto numbering seventy-eight, an unimportant group, made still smaller by the fact that the right-wing is drifting towards Hitler’s Fascist Party. Herr Kloenne, one of the seceders, declared Huglienberg with unstrategic insight, passed a plebiscite against the opinion of the bourgeoise against the President of the Reich, against reason. There were violent scenes in the Reichstag, Severings proposing the first reading of a hill 'for protection of the Republic. The Communists called him bloodhound and murderer. Twenty-four deputies were suspended. A bill was also introduced to make the party proposing the plebiscite pay therefore.
