HAWERA, May 11

The award of the arbitrators who sat recently to determine the price to be paid by the South Taranaki ElectricBoard to the Hawera County Electric Lighting Coy. Ltd. for the whole of the latter’s undertaking, was uplifted in Wellington this morning. The price fixecT by the arbitrators is £425,682. This sum includes the Company’s stock and trade and tools. By an agreement between the parties, the Company’s cash in hand, inscribed stock and book debts remain the property of the company.

The arbitrators fix the costs of thenaward at £1,251 4s sd, which is to bo paid by the parties in equal shares.
