Premier Gardiner lias announced that .Saskatchewan provincial election will be held on June fitli. Tlie present standing of parties in the House is:— Government 53, Conservatives 4, Progressives 5. ANTJ-GOD CAMPAIGN. (Times Service). (Received this day at noon.) RIGA, May 12. The anti-religious campaign was a complete fiasco at Tula, where the Soviet organised the annual anti-God torch processions and entertainments, and attempted to obstruct the approaches to the churches, blit churchgoers broke up the processions, tore up flags and effigies and chased the organisers on the streets indoors. Tho anti-religious performances wore also broken up. There were similar scenes in the neighbouring villages and many demonstrators were injured. SOVIET SHOOTINGS. RIGA, May 12. In connection with frequent terrorism at Kieff, the Soviet shot thirteen, alleging that they were concerned in two to three hundred raids during recent years. DEAN OF CANTERBURY. The 25,000-ton German battle cruiser Seydlitx, accompanied by three German tugs, was towed into Rosytli Harbour, bottom upwards, with two deckhouses n her keel. She was brought from Sea pa Flow, whore, she was raised to the surface from a depth of 80 feet.
