kokatahi gun club
There was only a limited number of shooters present at the Kokatahi Gun Club’s meeting yesterday afternoon. The weatlier conditions were good, but the shooting generally was not of a high order. The following are the results :
Three-bird sweepstake resulted in a win for Haile, after a tit? with 1). Weir.
For the main sweepstake and gold medal presented by Mr Bert Oropp, lour tied with eight birds out of nine. Messrs B. C'ropp. .J. Haile; C. Fleming and B. Lyes. The sweepstake was wen by C. Fleming after a shoot-off, while the gold medal went to the donor who had the best record for the sb;;ot oil the first barrel.
The last sweepstake was won by S. flcdfrey with three hits. For the next shoot Mr T. Furlong ha.s notified that he will present, a valuable gold medal.
