TO-MORROW’S GAMES. The Inter-Provincial game West Coast v. Southland takes place at Greymouth to-morrow. The Coast team should ho able to hold their own against the visitors, and a good game should result. On Cass Square the junior game Kiwi v. Ross takes place, when the southern team should have a fairly easy victory. At Araluira the third-grade fixture Araliura v. School takes place.

SOUTHLAND REPS. By the express yesterday the Southland Rugby Union’s touring team arrived in Greymouth from Canterbury. Numbering twenty-one players, the team is in charge of Mr P. Rice as manager. MARLBOROUGH ON TOUR. II AAV ERA, Aug. 9. The touring Marlborough fifteen made-a fine stand against n reputedly stronger Taranaki combination this afternoon, the visitors having •to accept defeat by a margin of only five points. Taranaki compiled 22 points from five tries (two converted) and a penalty goal, to Marlborough’s 17 from three tries (one converted) and two penalty goals. SCHOOL MATCHES, OAMARU, Aug, 9. AA’aitaki and Timaru Boys’ High Schools’ annual fixture was played this afternoon before a large attendance, a bard and exciting game ending in Woitnki’s favour by 13 to 6.
