AVIATION.

A GREAT WELCOME

Australian Press Assn.—United Service

(Received this day at 11.5 a.m.) jSAN FRANCISCO, July 11. Lyon and Warner arrived to-day, receiving a stupendous greeting from a committee- headed by Mayor Ro'lpli, which received tliem at the dock.

WELCOME TO LYONS AND WARNER. SAN FRANCISCO, July 11

Lyons’ wife and mother boarded the Malolo from a small boat, also Warner's two sisters and the Mayors of Oakland and San Francisco. Mounted police led the parade to the City Hall through great crowds, followed by flag draped cars and two hundred sailors from U.S.S. New York. The fliers seemed embarrassed by the reception. A majority of the thousands who greeted them watched the Southern Cross hop off for Sydney.
