The Jockey Club accepted a recommendation by a special committee that an alteration of the law he obtained for the purpose of legalising the totalisatnr, which means that the totalisator will be introduced to every racecourse under the Jockey Club and National Hunt Club rules. The “Evening Standard’’ says the Private Members Bill will be legalised and its introduction is already prepared.
